Volunteers are essential to the work of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation.  Volunteers can also help the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation by keeping the Trail tidy and by representing us at local events.

There are several ways to get involved with the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation:

2. Trail Ambassadors Program - Act as the VCTF’s eyes and ears, and report on Trail conditions

3. Adopt-a-Trail Program - Helping to keep the Trail Clean!

4. Bi-annual Trail Cleanups! We have Trail Cleanups in the spring and the fall. Check our Events Calendar to see dates!

5. The annual Cap2Cap Bike Ride is our biggest annual fundraiser and offers many volunteer opportunities.

6. The Rocketts Landing Cap Trail 10M & 5K presented by Dominion Energy Run/Walk offers lots of great volunteer opportunities!

7. Please email info@virginiacapitaltrail.org if you are interested in doing a Trail cleanup on your own and would like supplies (trash grabber, gloves, and trash bags).
